Ibstock's decorative Linear bricks have been specified for the construction of a 250 sq ft single storey extension at an awe-inspiring, 4-bedroom cottage in Reigate, Surrey.
Situated in a stunning semi-rural setting and sitting just a stone’s throw from North Downs, the modern design of the period house’s extension is complemented by the internal and external use of a number of natural materials. The extension features large openings that have been strategically placed to capture stunning rural views as well as permeating the space with natural light.
As project architects, Jason Good Architecture, specified our Shot-Blasted Linear bricks in Ivory to create a bold, sweeping horizontal effect across the cottage’s external façade.
Our Linear range is available in 22 finishes in lengths up to 440mm and depths of either 65 or 55mm, which accentuates the linearity of any façade.
The comprehensive collection includes several variations of Venezia Burnished, a subtly burnished finish ideal for smooth natural stone appearances; it’s Florentine® Polished, a polished finish ideal for broad, glossy expanses of modern, reflective and decorative walling; and its Shot Blasted finish, which provides a natural weathered appeal.
