The apprenticeship programme lays the foundations of engineering expertise using mathematics and science principles gained at GCSE. So, to be considered, you will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade 4 or above, including Mathematics, English Language and Science; an ICT qualification would also be advantageous. You need to be a practical “hands-on” person who can demonstrate a positive approach to work, participate in a team environment and be able to use your own initiative.
