Ibstock's IBrick has been highly commended for the 'Best Exterior Product' award at the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI) Architecture & Building Expo 2026 following a highly successful event that generated significant interest in our innovative IBricks. The award was presented during this year's RIAI Architecture Expo, one of Ireland's leading architecture and construction industry exhibitions, held annually at the RDS Dublin.
The award followed a presentation by Ibstock's Design Advisor, Ian Sutherland, who showcased the versatility of IBrick to the judging panel. His presentation highlighted the product's aesthetic flexibility, technical performance and environmental advantages.
Accepting the award, Ian commented on the strong level of engagement received throughout the two-day exhibition.
"The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to connect with architects, designers, engineers and contractors while demonstrating how IBricks can offer authentic brick aesthetics combined with greater design flexibility and installation efficiency.Being highly commended for the 'Best Exterior Product' award is a fantastic endorsement from the architectural community and highlights Ibstock's ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability and supporting the evolving needs of the construction industry.
