This week, MAKE UK hosted their annual Midlands Manufacturing Awards, and we are proud to announce that two of our outstanding apprentices were nominated for prestigious awards, highlighting their hard work and dedication.

Alicia Simpson, our Procurement Apprentice, was nominated for the Business Apprentice: Final Year Award, while Isabella Walsh from Northwich was nominated for the Apprentice Endeavour Award. Being shortlisted for these awards is a significant achievement, recognising the exceptional contributions they have made to their roles at Ibstock.

Both apprentices attended the awards ceremony alongside their line managers, and we are thrilled to share that Isabella Walsh won the Apprentice Endeavour Award! This award honours apprentices who have shown remarkable perseverance and commitment to their training, even in the face of challenges. Isabella’s determination and impressive progress throughout her apprenticeship have truly set her apart.
